The by AP developed grading boxes type KK are due to the folding wheels perfectly suitable for use in a greenhouse. This grading box is able to level the utmost corners in a greenhouse or other small spaces. The compact machines are standardly equipped with 2 wheels and hydraulic doors. They are coupled to the tractor with a 3-point linkage for maximum capacity and stability. Working widths from 150 to 200 cm, the height is 75 cm. Deviating heights and widths on demand.

Type SKB is the solution for precision grading on smaller locations or combined with smaller tractors. This little brother of the foldable grading boxes is provided with a gooseneck type drawbar, comes as standard with 4 offset wheels for a smooth and even run.

The AP grading box type SKB is the “mini” version of the large foldable KB grading boxes. The gooseneck drawbar ensures that the material, that is in front of the blade, has plenty of space to “roll”. Furthermore the position of the hitch is much lower than the one on the standard grading boxes. The SKB can be coupled to the lower hitch of the tractor, meaning the coupling point is lower resulting in a lower power requirement.

The position of the drawbar is a determining factor in the permissible volume of material. The result of grading and the power requirements of the tractor depend on the way the ground moves in front of the blade. If the bucket is full and the ground touches the drawbar then the ground will not “roll” anymore because the ground will accumulate under or around the drawbar. The grading box is full and pushes the ground ahead; besides that the grading box may be lifted due to the large amount of ground under the drawbar. This makes accurate levelling impossible and will increase the power requirement and therefore the fuel consumption. All this is prevented by the drawbar construction of the AP SKB grading boxes.

With the use of the SKB grading box the ground will always “roll”, even when the grading box is getting more fuller, thanks to the special shape of the blade with 2 radii. The gooseneck drawbar is positioned at a measured distance from the special blade and the soil so the ground cannot get jammed under the drawbar.

The LKB grading box is a simple, robust, no-nonsense grading box for farmers or contractors. Optionally available with laser control.

The LKB grading box is a no-nonsense grading box for farmers, to be used with tractors up to 150 pk. Type LKB comes as standard with mechanical doors and a fixed wheel set with 11.5/80-15.3 tires. Optionally it can be equipped with slope adjustment and offset wheels and laser control.

All AP grading boxes are delivered with an approval certificate EU regulations 167/2013 and thereby providing the possibility to apply for a licence plate.

The AP fixed grading boxes are perfectly suitable for end users that have high standards with regard to the results. These grading boxes are constructed heavier and more luxurious than the LKB agricultural grading box. All types are standardly equipped with mechanic doors and a fixed wheel set and can be scaled up with various options. Working widths from 200 to 485 cm, blade heights 70, 80, 110 and 130 cm; the transport width does not exceed the maximum permissible 3 meters.

The grading boxes, type KB, are machines for professional work. The special shape of the blade with 2 radii ensures the “rolling” of the ground. Type KB comes as standard with mechanical doors and a fixed wheel set. Optionally the doors can be controlled hydraulically. Furthermore these grading boxes can be equipped with single or double slope adjustment. All grading boxes are delivered with an open top frame. The plate thickness varies from 8 to 15 mm.

All 8 types can be provided with laser, GPS or LPS control and a hydraulically controlled 3-point linkage. Working widths (with closed doors) of 200, 220, 250 or 285 cm. When the doors are open the working widths can be increased from 290 to 485 cm. The height of the blade varies from 70 to 130 cm.

All types are delivered with an approval certificate EU regulations 167/2013, thereby providing the possibility to apply for a licence plate.
